He has an accomplished record of produc- tive organizational skills, finan- cial planning and team-building talent, which will strengthen the growing and service-oriented chamber. Other notable experiences in Martin's career include positions as executive director and chief development officer of the Arthritis Foundation's Mid-At- lantic region. He also served as a cruise director with Holland America Line, directing on- board events, marketing, revenue and promotional activities in- ternafionaUy. Holland of the Delaware Supreme Court recent- ly gave the keynote address at the eighth annual summit of the Taiwan Corporate Governance Association that was held in Taipei, Taiwan. Holland also met with Hau-Min Rai, the chief jus- tice of Taiwan's Constitutional Court. Holland presented the chief justice with a copy of his re- cent book on Delaware Corpora- tion Law that is only published in Chinese. One hundred signed copies of Holland's book were distributed to the judges in Tai- wan for use as a reference. While Holland was in Taipei, he also made presentations at the Taiwan Stock Exchange and at the prestigious National Taiwan University's Law School and Business School.
