50 - CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, Jan. 9 - Jan. 15, 2004 KSI awards appreciation certificates Kent-Sussex Industries Inc. (KSI) recently presented years of service appreciation certificates during its staff and board appreciation luncheon. John Baine of Frankford, Alfred Bat- son of Lincoln, Sarah Matthews of Laurel and Sharon Roney of Ellendale were recognized for 15 years of service. KSI is a nonprofit vocational rehabilitation agency serving individuals with disabilities throughout Kent and Sussex counties. "We really appreciate what you do every day," said KSI CEO Craig Crouch when he presented the certificates of appreciation. "You make it possible for people with disabili- ties to live meaningful lives. Always remember that you do make a difference. Thank you for enriching the lives of those we serve." Baine and Matthews work in KSI's transportation depart- ment, which is responsible for providing round trip, door-to- door transportation to nearly 250 individuals daily. Roney is a program manager who oversees the individual support agreements for nearly 30 individuals in her case manage- ment. Batson works with KSI's production team providing many services including pick up and delivery of product for the subcontract work at KSI. For more information about KSI, visit ksiinc.org. Recognized for 20 years of service were Craig Crouch of Milford, Constance Fuller of Dover and Emily Hamilton of Felton. While KSI CEO Crouch presented certificates of apprecia- tion to Fuller and Hamilton, Steve Kimpton, vice chair of KSI's board of directors, presented Crouch with his certifi- cate of appreciation. "I am very proud to be involved with KSI," said Kimpton as he addressed the staff. "The work that you do every day has such a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities. This is a great agency." Hamilton is a program manager who oversees the individ- ual support agreements for nearly 25 individuals in her case management. Fuller is a training supervisor who works with individuals striving to reach their optimal level of employ- ment. Ring has been named acting vice president of operations of Tidewater Utilities Inc., a utility providing water service to more than 23,000 cus- tomers throughout Delaware. Ring will supervise the new-serv- ice construction, distribution and water quality departments for the Dover-based utility. Ring joined Middlesex Water Company, the parent company of Tidewater, in 2000, as director of special projects. Ring is a gradu-. ate of Lafayette College, Pa., and holds a master's degree in engi- neering from SUNY, in Buffalo, N.Y., and an master of business degree from the University of Rochester, also in New York.
