38 - CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, January 17 - January 23, 1997 Hudson elected presid(.00] tt of state Manufactured Housing, 00sq00ciation Beginning their 38th year of representing the Manufactured Housing Industry in Delaware, the Delaware Manufactured Housing Association has an- nounced the election of the 1997 board of direc- tors. Craig Hudson, a part- ner in Hudson Family Communities, has been elected president. He has been active in the indus- try since 1978, and is in- volved in the manage- ment of a number of manufactured housing and lease communities, including Rehoboth Bay Community and Angola Beach and Estates. Hud- HUDSON son also provides new homes through Hudson Home of Re- hoboth. He has been an active par- ticipant in the Manufactured Housing Coalition, formed by DMHA and the Delaware and Sus- sex County Mobile Home Tenant's Associ- ation to promote a posi- tive relationship be- tween community oper- ators, the industry, resi- dents and homebuyers. Serving as first vice- president is Helen Stombaugh of New Dover East Estates. The second vice-president is John Hensley of Meisel & Co- Dusbiber joins Design Exchange The Design Exchange of Lewes has announced the appointment of Martin D. Dusbiber, who has joined the firm as project manager of their southern divi- sion. Dusbiber was formerly the assistant city manager of Rehoboth Beach from October, 1988 to Janu- ary, 1997. Dusbiber was previously a partner with Thompson Architects prior to taking the posi- tion with the City of Re- hoboth in 1988. Thomp- son Architects was purchased in 1994 by The Design Exchange of Newark. Dusbiber has been involved in architectural design and project management for over 20 years in- eluding the formation and man- agement of two of his own firms, D.I.L., Consulting Engineers and DCADS. Local projects credited to his DUSBIBER name include many local resi- dences, the Camelot Office Build- ing, and Barcroft Office Build- ings, the Lewes Public Library, Devon Inn in Lewes, the Inn at Canal Square, the Milford Senior Center, the Harrington Senior Center, JP's Wharf Restaurant in Bowers Beach and the Library Square Restau- rant in Milford. The Design Ex- change is best known and credited for the Blue Rocks Stadium, the Arthur Perdue Stadium and the new Visi- tor's Center in Bridgeville. The southern office of the Design Ex- change is located on Second Street in Lewes. Trish England, the owner and head architect of the firm, re- ceived the Delaware Business Re- view Entrepreneurial Woman of the Year Award in 1995. hen/High Point Assoc., while John Starke of New Look Homes was elected third vice-president. The secretary-treasurer is Sandy Stintsman, Sea Air Village, and the assistant secretary-treasurer is Joshua Twilley of DE Industrial Enterprises. Those elected vice presidents at-large are Jerry Burkert of Mar- ty's Home's, Nick DelCampo of Cedar Village, Charlie Eggleston of Manufactured Housing Con- cepts, Warren "Sparky" Keyes of Schult Homes, Larry Lewandows- ki of Angola Crest II, Everett Nock, Jr. of Briarwood Estates and George Porter of Manufac- tured Housing Resources.
