Attendees will enjoy a four- course dinner prepared by the chefs at Abbott's Grill while en- joying an electrifying perform- ance of rhythm and blues and jazz classics. Rose has been de- scribed as soulful and dynamic, and her shows captivate audi- ences. Combining the tortured pas- sions of Billie Holiday, the raw emotion of Joe Cocker and the diva strut of Tina Turner ( Rose has wowed audiences opening for Patti Labelle and has played festi- vals from New York and Wash- ington, D.C., to Guadalajara, Mexico. Owner/chef Kevin Reading is thrilled about the retum of Rose, calling it a can't-miss event. "She was our first performer in our Jazz Dinner Series and got such a positive reaction from the crowd that we couldn't wait to have her back," he said.
