The event will be held at the library, located at 217 W. State Street in Millsboro. Local experts and an- tique dealers will be on hand to answer questions, display some favorite items and offer free ap- praisals. library to host antiques night Jan. Experts who will be present, in- clude Milt Chaski, who special- izes in antique toys and books; Bob Graves, whose expertise in- cludes Cranberry glass, Mary Gregory glass and English and American Majolica; and Marcus Quitlen, who does the majority of his antique dealing over the inter- net on e-bay. After a brief intro- 31 duction to their respective areas of interest and a question and answer period, these experts will be glad to offer their opinions on the val- ues of any items brought in by the audience. Women's conference set March 2 in Wilmington Early bird registration will be ending Jan. 31 for the 18th annual Delaware Women's Conference, Releasing the Power Within, to be held 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at the University of Delaware's John M. Clayton Hall in Newark. Early bird registration is only $40 for Jan. 31 and $50 per person after that date. New features this year include a Delaware Women's Conference Art Show hosted by the Newark Arts Alliance, which will be open- ing Feb. 22, 6-9 p.m. each evening. Also taking place is a craft show and sale in Pencader Hall. Cost of the conference includes a continental breakfast, sit-down luncheon, three workshops from which to choose - from 42 offered - a keynote lecture and access to exhibitors, book sale and craft sale area. The keynote address will be given by Erica Jong, best- selling author of "Fear of Flying" and "What Do Women Want: Bread Roses Sex Power." Child care will be available during the conference.
