30 - CAPE GAZETYE, Friday, February 4 - February 10, 1994 Shakespeare classics to I,c pcdormcd in Georgeto00ntl Feb. 9, 11 The Professional Theatre Train- ing Program at the University of Delaware will present two Shake- spearean favorites, "As You Like It," and "Romeo and Juliet" in Georgetown this February. "As You Like It" will be per- formed on Wednesday, Feb. 9 and "'Romeo and Juliet" is slated for Friday, Feb. 11. Both perfor- mances will be presented at 7:30 p.m. in the Del Tech Theatre, Southern Campus in Georgetown. Tickets are $5 for the general public and $3 for students at each play and are available at the Uni- versity Parallel Program office, 855-1657. "As You Like It," set in the for- est of Arden, is a charming, romantic comedy combining the worlds of dream and reality. Del Tech planning annual Valentine's Dance for Feb. 12 Looking for something special and fun to do with your valentine? Dance to the rockin' sounds of 'q'he Convertibles," from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 12 at the Delaware Tech Southern Campus in Georgetown. Music from the 50s, 60s and 70s will be featured at the dance, which will be held in the Higher Education Building. There will also be a cash bar. Tickets may be purchased in advance from any baseball player or several staff members. Advance tickets are $15 per cou- ple or $8 single; at the door tickets are $20 per couple or $10 single.
