James Robert Andrie, local waterman James Robert Andrie, 72, of Milton, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2007, in Milton. Mr. Andrie was born in Milton, son of the late Mildred Andrie. He worked as an area waterman for many years. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his first wife, June Porter Andrie; and his second wife, Dorothy Wright Andrie. He is survived by a son, Robert David Andrie of Lincoln; a daugh- ter and a son-in-law, Rhonda and Richard Manship of Milton; five sisters, Doris Parson of Pittsville, Md., Margaret Vickers of Milton, Jeanette Clark of Milton, Marian Diorio of Wilmington and Joyce Adkins of Lewes; three grandchil- dren, Keith Carlton Walker, Andrea Naples and Amanda Manship; and three great-grand- children, Casie Naples, Dylan Naples and Madison Naples. Funeral services were held in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, Milton, with burial in Oakley Cemetery, near Ellendale. George Edward Hudson, campground founder George Edward Hudson, 85, of Lewes, died Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, in his home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Hudson was born in Lewes, son of the late Edward Thornton Hudson and Edith (Simpler) Hudson. lie was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Navy. Mr. Hudson was a self- employed masonry contractor and founder and owner of Big Oaks Campground in Rehoboth Beach. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Freda (Wilson) Hudson; a daughter, Barbara A. Plummer and her husband George Plummer III; two grandsons, Gregory Edward Plummer and his wife Anita, and Jeffrey Mark Plummer and his wife Dana; four great-grandchildren, Gregory Edward Plummer Jr., Zackary Thomas Winfield Plummer, Jeffrey Mark Plummer Jr. and Whitney Marie Plummer. A funeral service was held in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services on Long Neck Road in Long Neck. Interment was in Henlopen Memorial Park in Milton. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions in Ed's memory to Delaware Hospice, Southern Division, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947. Richard Thomas Titus, maintenance engineer Richard Thomas Titus, 57, of Rehoboth Beach and formerly of Baltimore, died Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007, at home, after a seven- month battle with cancer. Mr. Titus was born in Baltimore, the son of the late Frank Titus and Catherine Titus. Mr. Titus was a maintenance engineer for 30 years and a mem- ber of the Moose Lodge. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his daughter, Catherine Vacek of Glen Burnie, Md.; two grandchildren, Brian Keith Vacek Jr. and Mickayla Nicole Vacek, both of Glen Burnie; four brothers, Robert, Ray, Frank and Ronnie Titus; a sister-in-law, Tina Titus; and his best friend, Bill Jones, of Rehoboth Beach.
