George Forst, retired farmer George Forst, 96, of Milton, passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2010, at the Delaware Hospice Center. George was born in New York, Son of the late Joseph F. and Matilda (Patrasic) Forst. He was a farmer and carpenter in the area for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Georgetown and was active in the church and local senior centers, in addition to his parents and siblings, George was preceded in death by his wife Nora M. (Donovan) Forst. He is survived by two daugh- ters and sons-in-law, Nancy (Donald ].) LeCates, of Bethel and lanet (Kuno) Sumpf of Mil- ton; two grandchildren, Michael D. and Lisa (Millman) Justice and Steven E. and Courtney (Gregerson) Justice; and a great- granddaughter, Kenna Grace Justice. A funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 15, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton. Burial will be in Harbeson Cemetery. Anastasia LaFemina, VFW member Anastasia Agnes LaFemina, 88, of Lewes, formerly of Old Say- brook, Conn., passed away Satur- day, Feb. 6, 2010, at Beebe Med- ical Center, with her daughter ]oyce LaFemina at bedside. She was born March 10,1921, in Norwich, Conn, daughter of the late George Louis and Lydia (La- Pointe) Bryant. Anne married her husband of 40 years, Francis Joseph LaTemina, on ]an. 10,1949. The family lived and raised their children in Old Saybrook. She was retired from Chesebrough- Ponds Inc. of Clinton, Conn. She enjoyed the beach, garden- ing, bowling and baking for her family, friends and the community. She and her late husband often traveled Anastasia to his reunions LaFemina with the 2nd Armored "Hell on Wheels" Division of the U.S. Army. She enjoyed socializing with the Old Saybrook VFW Post 10153 along with her hus- band, who was secretary of the post at the time. Mrs. LaFemina moved to Delaware in 2005 to re- side with her daughter, ]oyce; and grandson, Justin LaYemina, both of Lewes. In addition to her parents, she was prede- ceased by her husband, Francis Joseph LaFemina (1989); her son, Richard Francis LaFemina (1988); and her dear friend and sister-in-law, Eleanor LaFemina (2002). She is survived by daugh- ter Christine LaFemina and her partner Robert Adler of Portsmouth, NJ-I.,; her daughter ]oyce; grandson Iustin; her nephew Peter Bryant, his wife Kay Bryant and their family of Vero Beach, Fla.; and her broth- er-in-law Theodore LaFemina, surviving husband of Eleanor, and their family of Groton, ConrL Viewing was held at Parsell Funeral Home &amp; Crematorium, Lewes, Monday, Feb. 15. Romine, medical photographer John Thomas Romine, 84, of Rehoboth Beach, passed away Monday, Feb. 15, 2010, at Delaware Hospice Center in Mil- ford. Mr. Romine was born Dec. 21, 1925, in Boston, Mass., son of the late Herman John Holtzhausen and Hazel Wyla (McKinley) Romine. Mr. Romine had worked for many years at the National Institutes of Health as a medical photographer. He was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, Lewes, a mem- ber of the American Legion Post 5, Rehoboth Beach, Knights of Columbus, and the Irish Society of Delaware. He served in the Navy during Word War II.
