46 - CAPE GAZETTE Friday, Feb. 17 - Monday, Feb, 20, 2006 Resort Pointe Builders to build custom homes for The Peninsula Resort Pointe Builders has been named the fifth custom- home builder to join The Peninsula on the Indian River Bay, a gated community featuring Delaware's first private Jack Nicklaus signature golf course. Resort Pointe Builders, led by Ralph Picard, Susan Picard and Rob Prikryl, offers award-win- ning designs; unique, custom interior finishes; craftsmanship; quality materials; and responsive customer service. The company has been building " custom Delaware beach homes of inno- vative distinction for more than 25 years. "Resort Pointe prides itself on quality and guarantees personal service and daily, on-site supervi- sion. Its projects have been fea- tured in The Wave, Brandywine Signature and Beach Life, and have been included on architec- tural tours," said developer Larry A. Goldstein. Most recently, a Resort Pointe The Peninsula hires PGA professional Troy Flateau as director of golf PGA member and professional golf instructor Troy Flateau has been named the new director of golf for The Peninsula, a gated community featuring Delaware's first private Jack Nicklaus signa- ture golf course. Beginning in March 2006, Flateau's duties will include directing and overseeing all aspects of golf operations, includ- ing the coordination of activities and relationships between resi- dents, guests, associates and the community. He will be responsible for pro- viding professional golf instruc- tion and organizing member events and programs as well as ensuring maximum visitor saris- faction and financial performance. "Troy is very talented, experi- enced and full of passion," said developer Larry A. Goldstein. "His welcoming personality and high energy will provide excep- tional customer service to our members and guests. We are thrilled to have him join the Peninsula team." Flateau worked with Troon Golf, a leader in luxury golf man- agement, for 12 years. He was most recently the head golf pro- fessional at TPC Snoqualmie Ridge located near Seattle, Wash. Flateau has taught more than 2,000 private lessons. Some of Flateau's noteworthy accomplish- ments include acting as profes- sional host for the Boeing Greater Seattle Classic Champions Tour Event and being named a finalist for golf professional of the year. Under his supervision, TPC Snoqualmie Ridge won Troon Golf's Most Improved Facility of the Year Award and was named the No. 1 course in the state of Washington.
