U, 2011, at Beebe Medical Center. Viola was born in Berlin, Md. She was the daughter of the late Elder Jacob St: and Vh'ginia Brittingham. She is survived by her children Rachel A. Bratten of. Milton, Amos Bratten St. (Geor- gianna) of Harbeson, Elder Elmer Bratten (Peggy) of Dover, Arlene Young of Pittsburgh, Pa., Lola Bratten-Phillips of Dover, Rosemary Waples (Larry) of Philadelphia, Timothy Bratten (Michaela) of Hanover, Md., Elvira Reba Briscoe of Philadel- phia, Alice Mullen (Anthony) of Millsboro, Isabelle Davis (William) of Dover, and Gerald Bratten of Milton; two sisters - Esther Knapp and Bishop Grace Ruth Batten of Milton; two brothers - Presiding Elder Granville Brittingham and James Brittingham of Milton; 19 grand- children; and 16 great-grandchil- dren. Services will be at noon, Friday, Feb. 18, with viewing from 10 a.m. to.noo at Mt. Zion Holy Church, 308 Front St., Milton. Interment will be in Siloam Cemetery, Slaughter Neck. Robert C, Rollins Jr,, drywall finisher Robert Carlton Rollins-lr., 53, also known as "Bob" or "Moose" by his friends, entered the church triumphant, surrounded by his family Sunday, Feb. B, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes. Mr. Rollins was born Dec. 25, 1957, in Washington, D.C., the son of Robert C. and Loretta Lee Dixon Rollins. After graduatlon from Lincoln Technical Institute, Robert worked as a gas attendant at Washington Cab in Washington, D.C. Eventually he went into his dad's trade as a drywall f'misher. In 1982, Robert moved from Glen Bumie, Md., to Lewes, where he continued working in his trade. In recent years, Robert owned and operated his own drywall business, RC Rollins Jr. Drywall Co. Mr. Rollins' No. 1 priority was taking care of his family. He was an avid Washington Redskins fan. Robert also never met a cat he didn't like. In addi- tion to his father, he was preced- ed in death by two brothers - William and John Rollins. He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Rebecca Rae Hampton Rollins; son Wayne White of Fruitland, Md.; daughter Flo White of Millsboro; mother Loretta Rollins of Lewes; four siblings '- loe Rollins of CatonsviUe, Md., Carol Rokuskie of Swedesboro, N.J., David Rollins of Lewes, and Laurie Brinton of Lewes; 16 nieces and nephews; and 10 great-nieces and great-nephews. A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, Feb. 18, at the Long Neck chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 19, at Conley's United Methodist Church, 33106 ]olyn's Way, Lewes. Interment will be private. Box 9068, GPO New York, NY 10087-9068. Gilbert A, Buckley Jr., Lions Club member Gilbert A. Buckley Jr., 68, of Georgetown, passed away Mon- day, Feb. 14, 2011, at Beebe Med- ical Center in Lewes. He was born in Milford the son of the late Gilbert A, Sr. and Pearl Buckley, Gilbert served in the Delaware National Guard and. worked as a heavy-equipment operator for Sussex Soil Comer- vation District. He was also a member of the Milton Lions Club. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Rita; sons - Craig Bucldey and his wife Stephanie of PurceviUe, Va., and Gilbert A Buckley III of Lincoln; daughters - Susie Hutchison and Sharon Buckley of Greenwood, Loralei Buckley of Milford and Mary Garbrick of Milford; 10 grand- children; son-in-law Doug Sapp of Milford; daughter-in-law Su- san Hofstetter of Felton; sisters - Delores Olsen of Lake City, Fla., and Sandra Wells of Laurel; and brother Michael Buckley of Crestview, Fla. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 19, in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal St., Milton, where friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 pan.
