Zion member Helen Louise Kellam, 76, of Salisbury, Md., died Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury. Mrs. Kellam was born in Painter, Va., daughter of the late James and Emma Robinson Wyatt. She was employed by the fami- ly of Dorothy Nagel for 30 years, and by the families of Rob Satorio and Bruce Todd, all of Salisbury. Mrs. Kellam was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church, Painter. The American. Association Of University Women, Coastal- Georgetown Branch, will host this event, as it does on the first Thursday of each month: The book for April 6 is "Sea of Glory: America's Voyage of Discovery: The U.S. Exploring Expedition," 1838-1842 by Nathaniel Philbrick. Books by the Bay to host 'Towers' author The towers that dot the Delaware shoreline are reminders of the connection to World War II. "Delaware's Ghost Towers," by William C. Grayson, explains how the towers were used and is filled with photos, maps and interesting information that will intrigue anyone with a taste for history. Books by the Bay in Lewes will host a book signing with Grayson from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, March 3. All are welcome. For more information, call Books by the Bay at 645-2304. Georgetown CHEER to host dinner March 8 Georgetown CHEER Center, located at 546 S. Bedford Street, is hosting a cover dish dinner on from 5 to 7 p.m., March 8. Attendees are asked to bring a vegetable, starch or salad. Fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, dessert and beverage will be pro- vided. Entertainment will be provided by the local group The Baytones, who will play through dinner from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. was preceded in death by her hus- band, Milton Kellam, in August 1988. She is survived by a son, Elwood Wyatt of Delmar; three grandchildren, Claudia Reese and her husband, Edward, of Lewes, Kenneth Wyatt Sr. and his wife Dorothy, and Elwood Wyatt Jr., whom she reared as her own, all of Salisbury; five great-grandchil- dren; a brother, David Wyatt of Painter; a sister and brother-in- law, Corrine and Preston Sturgis of Painter; a sister-in-law, Magalene Wyatt of Painter; and a host of nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 24, in Wesley Temple United Methodist Church, West Road, Salisbury, where friends may call at noon. Burial will be in Springhill Memory Gardens, Hebron, Md. Slaughter Neck CHEER celebrates nmiversk] Slaughter Neck CHEER Center will be host. a three-day celebra- tion from March 21-23, in honor of its 32nd anniversary. The celebration will begin March 21 with entertainment pro- vided by Bud Scott and continue March 22 with bingo, food and fun, and on March 23, with enter- tainment provided by Gloria Holland and the Cape Henlopen Gospel Singers. RBHS seeks Hall of Fame nominations The Rehoboth Beach Historical Society (RBHS) is seeking nomi- nations for its second annual Hall of Fame Award.
