36 - CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, Briefl, Kidney Foundation offers workshop March 12 The National Kidney Founda- tion of the Delaware Valley has heduled a patient-family work- shop from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Sunday, March 12, at the BayCen- tr in Dewey Beach. Patients fac- ing the prospect of kidney failure and those already on dialysis are invited to attend. The Live Well Again workshop is designed to inform patients about treatment options, including transplant; how to ensure quality dialysis; and how proper diet and exercise can dramatically improve their quality of life. The work- shop will provide an opportunity for patients to meet with health professionals, and to become ac- quainted with others facing the same challenges. The event will include a kidney- healthy lunch and door prizes will be awarded at the end of the day. Admission is free, but a $2 per- person donation is welcome.
