OTICE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING A public hearing will be held by the City of Rehoboth Beach Commissioners on Friday, March 10, 2000 at 7 PM in the Commissioners Room located at 229 Rehoboth Avenue. All parties are invited to attend, Gregory Ferrese, City Manager TOWN OF DEWEY BEACH ANNOUNCEMENT AND INSTRUCTIONS VOR BXD FORM FOR BEACH RAKING AND CLEANING SERVICES Sealed bids from qualified persons, firms and/or companies to provide for independent contractor services for beach raking and cleaning to the Town of Dewey Beach as described herein below and in the Contract (copies of which are available at the Town Hall), will be accepted by the Town Manager's Office located in the Town Hall Building at 105 Rodney Avenue, Dewey Beach, Delaware, until 2:00 PM on March 10, 2000, at which time they wilt be opened and read aloud. The successful bidder will be announced at the March 11,2000 Commissioners Meeting. The final contract shall be amended to reflect the bid submitted by bidder and accepted by the Town which the Town, in its sole discretion, determines is in the best interest of the Town. Accordingly, bidders are required to submit bids on the attached bid form. The contract will be awarded to a person(s) or business organization which will have the sole responsibility of providing the beach cleaning services, which are described in the contract and offered in the bid pursuant to the bid form and accepted by the Town. The term of this contract is for five (5) years, commencing on the third Monday of May, and terminating on the third Friday of September, of each contract year of 2000 through 2004. The Town Commissioners reserve the right to reject any and all bids or to make such award as is most advantageous to the Town of Dewey Beach.
