54 - CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, February 28- March 6, 1997 Delmar children&apos;s theater looking for talent The Children's Theater of Delmar will hold a vaudeville-style variety show on Saturday, April 26 at Delaware Technical & Community Col- lege in Georgetown. The show times will be from 3-5 p.m., and events will include games and prizes, story telling, a children's amateur act, an adult amateur act and more. Pat Staby.Rogers will showcase her unique, ornate pillows, while Steve Rogers' handcrafted miniature boats will be on display in their studio on Market Street in Lewes. Studio tour slated for Lewes March 29 Friday Artists and artisans in the Lewes area are preparing to open their private workspaces for a studio tour on Saturday, March 29. The artists will be receiving vis- itors in their studios from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. This free, self-guided tour offers a unique opportunity for interaction with tourists in their working environment. Artists will be demonstrating their techniques on works in Worcester Country Worcester Country School Per- forming Arts Group under the di- rection of music teacher Dan Freed, dance teacher Karen Tari- ala and Head of the Upper School Matt O'Hare will present the Broadway musical "Li'l Abner" to audiences on Friday and Satur- day nights, March 7 and 8. The program begins at 8 p.m. both evenings. The school's stage will be trans- progress, as well as displaying completed art work. Among those artists and arti- sans planning to participate in the open studio tour are watercolorists Henry Meier and Julie Molyneux, and acrylic painter Aina Nam- mack. Other studios will feature stained glass creations by Barbara Berl, specialized pillows and quilts by Pat Staby, handcrafted School presents "Li'l formed into Dogpatch, USA, as Li'l Abner, played by senior Michael Dickerson, and Daisey Mac, played by junior Erin Ash- ley, lead a cast certain to delight audiences. Flyers featuring a list of the par- ticipants and the location of their studios will be available in early March at various Lewes business establishments.
