Program remembers Dickinson fire Exactly 208 years after fire de- stroyed the ]ohn Dickinson homestead in Dover, the ]ohn Dickinson Plantation will com- memorate the event, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, March 3. The program will explore both the details of the fire and Dickin- son's decision to rebuild his beloved family home. Admission is free and open to the public. The John Dickinson Plantation was the boyhood home and country estate of John Dickinson, one of the founding fathers of the United States, signer of the U.S. Constitution and Penman of the Revolution. Lewes Public Library to start Kids' building club Lewes Public Library will begin a new Kids' Construction Club at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, March .3. The club will be for children of all ages to have fun learning while bonding. The group will meet regularly on the first Saturday of the month. The library is acquiring a col- lection of Lego bricks for 'the club. The library requests that anyone who has new or gently used bricks consider donating them to the library.
