Teens Reaching Youth now training Recently, 15 youth gathered at the Western Sussex Boys and Girls Club, in Seaford, to take part in the Teens Reaching Youth (TRY) Training. The TRY pro- gram is a United States Department of Agriculture funded grant that allows youth ages 13- 18 to be trained to teach other youth in six one-hour sessions in different programs such as: 4-H after school programs, Boys and Girls Clubs, and other community centers. The purpose of TRY is to engage youth to go out into their community and try to reach other youth by being positive role mod- els. Currently, there are 37 teens trained in Sussex County. The training was led by Sussex County TRY! Coordinator Katie Scott, and Kent County TRY Coordinator Jamie Meleri.
