Pickles & Friends in Georgetown for all-you- can-eat shrimp, music and fun. The Lewes Chamber of Commerce's Promotions Committee is sponsoring the Lewes Quilt Show Saturday and Sunday, March 25-26 in the Beacon Motel Lobby, 514 East Savannah Road in .Lewes, featur- ing a Baltimore Album Quilt on display by world famous quilter Elly Sienkiewicz who resides in Washington, D.C. and Lewes. Other local quilt artists will have their work on display and for sale during the hours of the show Saturday, March 25 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 26 from noon to 5 p.m Maryann McFee, owner of Mare's Bears Quilt Shop located in the same building as the Beacon Motel, is coordinating the show and sale. A number of businesses in the historic commercial district around Second Street are offering discounts and events associated with the quilt show weekend. Copies of their Discount Coupon Sheet are available in the busi- nesses, at the Chamber of Commerce in advance of the show and in the lobby of the Beacon Motel on the days of the show. The Coupon Sheet must be presented at the time of purchase and will be honored only on March 25-26 unless otherwise noted on the coupon. The associated activities include: Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory displaying the quilts of Kristin Wuttke; Stepping Stone featuring the work of local artists Barbara Warden, Betsey Von Dreele and Pat Staby-Rogers; Kids' Ketch showcasing quilts for babies and young children by Polly Magargal; and the Lewes Historical Society's Visitor Center in the historic Ryves Holt House will be open Saturday only from noon to 3 p.m. with quilts from the Society's collection on dis- play.
