The following movies are now playing in the resort area: Jungle 2 Jnngle - Tim Allen ("Home Improvement," "The SantaClause') travels to a remote Indian Village to find his son, and then brings the boy back to New York City with him. Also stars Martin Short. Rated PG. Howard Stern's Private Parts - The life and times of the self-proclaimed "King of Media" hits the big screen. Rated R. Rosewood - Directed by John Singleton ("Boyz in the Hood," "Poetic Justice"), this drama - based on actual events - is set in the small Florida town of Rose- wood. The film is reminiscent of its 1996 big screen predecessors, "The Chamber" and "Ghosts of Mississippi," in that it showcases racial prejudice and the heroism displayed by those who overcame adversity. Rated R. Donnie Brasco- Must-see thriller starring Johnny Depp and perennial mobster bad guy AI Pa- no. Years later, his agency wants him back, but Depp is too far in- volved. Rated R. Marvin's Room - Diane Keaton stars in this Oscar-nomi- nated role as a woman stricken with a life-threatening disease who is forced to come to terms with her future and her past. Also stars Meryl Streep, Robert DeN' And Leonardo DiCaprio. Rated PG-13. Booty Call - Those who know what this technique involves will want to see this movie which de- tails all of the slick, sly moves re- quired to obtain the desired effect. If you don't know what a "Booty Call" is, well, you may want to take notes. Rated R. Absolute Power - Clint East- wood and Gene Hackman star in this gut-wrenching drama about murder and deception. Eastwood also directs. Rated R. National Lampoon;s Vegas Vacation - Chevy Chase, Beverly D'Angelo and Randy Quaid are back in the latest, high-rolling in- stallment of hilarious cross-coun- try adventures. Rated PG. Dante's Peak - Pierce Bros- nan and Linda Hamilton prepare cino. Depp is an FBI agent who for the worst as an inactive vol- infiltrates the maffia with the help cano suddenly erupts in a disas- of his "sponsor," playe&byPaei- treerldeC:Rat&l PG- 13. Star Wars - The new, en- hanced version of the 1970's clas- sic has been tops at the box office ever since its release several weeks ago. The film features more footage, improved special effects and some surprises. Rated PG. The Empire Strikes Back - The second in the installment of George Lucas' blockbusters. "Star Wars" surpassed Stephen Spielberg's E.T. in ticket sales. Time will tell if the sequel can do the same. Rated PG. The English Patient - Set on the eve of World War II, Acade- my Award nominee Ralph Fi- ennes develops an attraction to a married aristocrat (played by Kristin Scott Thomas). The film raked in a total of 12 Oscar nomi- nations. Rated R. Jerry Maguire - Tom Cruise plays a high-powered sports agent who works for a high-profile sports management agency. Cruises' Maguire stumbles into a new kind of life with single mom Dorothy (played by newcomer Rennee Zellweger). Cruise is nominated for his second Oscar for his performance in this film, which is directed by Crowe (SayAnything and Sin- gles). Rated R.
