St. Francis topic of play March 29 The youth group of Mary Mother of Peace Catholic Church of Oak Orchard and Saint Michael&apos;s Catholic Church of Georgetown will sponsor a play, "The Last Canticles of St. Francis," performed by pro- fessional actor and evangelist Charles D. Baker, at 6:30 p.m., Wednes- day, March 29, at Mary Mother of Peace on Rt. 24. The performance is free, and a free-will offering will be taken. Art topic of Unitarian service March 26 All people have the capacity to understand art, at least art from their own culture, without having to really think about it because art is an ex- pression of the culture in which it was created. The trick to a wider ap- preciation of art is to understand where and when the art was created. The Unitarian Universalists of Southern Delaware will hear about art and culture at 10:30 a.m., Sunday, March 26, when Dr. Polly Stewart, professor of English at Salisbury State University, presents Worldview and its Impact on Cultural Expression: Anglo-American and Native- American Examples, at the group's worship service. Lutheran Church sets Lenten services The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 7 Bay Vista Road, Rehoboth Beach, will hold Lenten services beginning 7:30 p.m., Wednesdays. Lenten Mission set at St. John's Church St. John the Apostle Catholic Parish will host a Lenten Mission Sun- day, at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 29, at the church, located at the corner of Seabury Avenue and School Place in Milford. All Saints' sets Lenten luncheon meetings A Christian Perspective on Death and Dying Well is the theme for a series of Lenten luncheon meetings set from noon to 1 p.m., Wednes- days, at All Saints' Episcopal Church Parish Hall, 18 Olive Ave., Re- hoboth Beach.
