Art auction to ben G :Is C ab of )ak, The Oak Orchard/Riverdale Civic Association, along with the Greater Millsboro Kiwanis Club will host an art show and auction at 7 p.m., Friday, April 7, at the new Community CHEER Center in Georgetown, located on Route 9, just east of Georgetown near the Sussex County Airpark. Pro- ceeds from the event will help fund the new Boys &amp; Girls Club of Oak Orchard. The preview be- gins at 7 p.m., with the auction starting at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and includes a selec- tion of hors d'oeuvres and desserts and door prizes. A cash bar will also be available. The art show and auction will be presented by the Heisman Fine Gallery Inc. of Ardmore. The fine art at the auction will be offered at prices that are substantially below those found at retail galleries. Works are framed and include wa- it Boys & • chard April 7 tercolor, enamel and oil paintings, etchings and prints, and litho- graphs and serigraphs, all in many styles. Works by popular artists such as Erte, Wyeth, Renoir, Ansel Adams and others will be on display. The Heisman Fine Arts Gallery also offers an ex- change program if buyers are not Completely satisfied with their purchase in the first five years.
