Obituaries Continued from page 36 School, Ocean View. After retiring in 1971, he and his wife moved to St. James, Fla., where he was a Little League um- pire. They also owned the Mezick Shell Garden in Dewey Beach for about 24 years until selling it in 1984. They moved to Ocean View about four years ago. He was a former member of Mariners Bethel United Methodist Church, Ocean View, where he sang in the choir. He was a mem- ber of Ocean View Church of Christ. He is survived by his wife and two daughters, Adrienne Bennett of Ocean View and Michelle E. Buck of Fruitland, Md. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date. "i  : ................. ...... Marilou H. Fitzpatrick, Beebe, chamber worker Marilou H. Fitzpatrick, 61, of Salisbury died Sunday, March 15, 1998, in the Wicomico Nursing Home, Salisbury. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born in Washington, D.C., the daughter of the late J. Edward and Miriam McIlvaine Howard, former mayor of Rehoboth Beach. She worked throughout her life as a secretary at the Veterans Ad- ministration, Washington, D.C.; for the State Department in Births Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Delaware George and Kim Campbell, Georgetown, March 13, daughter. Charles and Nancy Ewing, Mil- ton, March 13, son. Ron Borders and Janet Danklef, Millsboro, March 14, daughter. Kevin and Mary Lynch, Mills- boro, March 14, son. Don and Kerry-Lynne Look- Greece; for the Chamber of Com- merce, Rehoboth Beach; for the Beebe Hospital, Lewes; and for the Holy Cross Hospital, Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a real lady with charm and wit. She was a "people person" and an animal en- thusiast. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband of 17 years, J.T. "Jack" of Salis- bury; a daughter, Teresa M. Tresp of Annapolis; five stepchildren, Zoe E. Fitzpatrick of Annapolis, Mark P. Fitzpatrick of Fort Laud- erdale, Craig M. Fitzpatrick of North Beach, Lynn C. Evy of Presque Island, Maine, and John T. Fitzpatrick III of Ithaca, N.Y.; an aunt, Helen R. McIlvaine of Princess Anne; an uncle, Ceylon L. McIlvaine of McLean, Va.; four cousins, Emily Logan of Vir- ginia Beach, Va., James McIl- vaine and Douglas McIlvaine, both of Rehoboth Beach, and Charles Bram of Williamsburg, Va.; and a legion of friends. Graveside services were held Friday, March 20, 1998, in the Last Supper Mausoleum, Wicomico Memorial Park, Salis- bury. The Rev. John Dean of Re- hoboth Beach officiated.
