Ambulance Cost for ))Lo-Policy Holders: Local* $120.00 Smyrna $170.00 Millsboro 135.00 Wilmington 235.00 Milford 135.00 Philadelphia 280.00 Saaford 145.00 Baltimore 300.00 Dover 150.00 Washington 350.00 Salisbury 155.00 *(For local service, $120.O0/tnp + mileage and expenses.) Ambulance Cost for Policy Holders: NO CHARGE All trips beyond the Philadelphia-Baltimore-Washington areas will be charged $2.00/mile for each mile the ambulance is physically transporting a patient past thorn geographical locations. As a service to our community, we are pleased to offer a 1998 Ambulance Policy Premium for Only $35 00 O We maintain three modern ambulances to service the community's needs. The income from your ambulance policy helps defray the purchasing and operational cost of these vehicles. However, due to the spiraling cost of these vehicles, we greatly appreciate any special contributions toward their purchase. A new ambulance was ordered in 1997 at a cost of $109,000. Ambulance insurance policies for the year 1998 are now being offered by your VOLUNTEER Ambulance Squad. Your premium for 1998 is $35. This policy entitles you and those persons living in your household (on a full- time basis), to non-emergency transport ambulance serviceto locations wit5hin a 20-mile radius of Lews, and emergency ambulance service to points as far away as Baltimore, Washington and Philadelphia, for a period of one year. Non-emergency transportation outside this 20-mile radius will not be covered. Your policycovers you for unlimited ambulance service at no cost, as stipulated above. Remember, all non-emergency transportation must be ordered by a physician and this order relayed to the Ambulance Squad, 36 hours or more in advance for local transports and 48 hours or more in advance for transports outside the 20-mile radius of Lewes. The cost of ambulance service for non-policy holders is listed below and as you can see your insurance policy is an outstanding bargain.
