:Cape Gazette WEATHER TUESDAY APRIL 2 - THURSDAY, APRIL 4, 2013 47 Wild Deimarva )) Kevin Fleming GREAT BLUE HERONS are among the largest herons in the world. These year-round Delaware residents are common in salt marshes and along freshwater ponds and streams, essentially wherever fish and other aquatic creatures can be found. I've watched them catch and eat everything from large snakes to tiny shrimp. To see more of Kevin's photography visit his gallery at 239 Rehoboth Avenue in Rehoboth Beach.
