. CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, April 4- April 10, 1997 - 27 Church Notes Lutheran Church begins Saturday youth program The Lutheran Church of Our Svior, 7 Bay Vista Road. Rehoboth Beach, will provide a Saturday Youth Program for all children pre- school age through age 16. Sessions begin Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. until noon. The program will include a gospel oriented learning session, arts and crafts, music and games. Lunch will be served to all participants in the program. The last session is slated for Saturday, May 10. For more information and enrollment, call the church office at 227- 3066. Transportation will be provided if necessary. Long Neck U.M. Church sells pizza, plans supper The Long Neck U.M. Church's Christian Education Department is holding its annual pizza sale through Sunday, April 13, with a wide variety of gourmet pizza available to order. The pizzas will be delivered to Fellowship Hall on Wednesday evening, April 23. To order, contact John or Bridgit Schutt, Sunday school teachers and students and the church office, 945-9453, during office hours. Also, Long Neck United Methodist Women will hold a covered dish supper at 5:30 p.m., Sunday, April 13, in the Fellowship Hall on Long Neck Road. Melissa Roberts will give a presentation of slides from her trip to Zimbabwe and Pastor Karen Booth will also show slides from her recent trip to Greece. Those attending should bring a covered dish of their choice. Old Fort Gospeleers to sing in LewesApril 12 The Old Fort Gospeleers and Mass Choir will appear atBethel U.M. Church in Lewes at 4 p.m., Saturday, April 12. Donation is $4 for adults and $3 for children and the event is sponsored by Voices of Praise, Israel United Methodist Church. Charity and Justice theme of April 12 conference "God's Call and Our Response" is the theme of a Charity and Justice Conference slated for Saturday, April 12, at the Modern Maturity Center in Dover, sponsored by Catholic Charities, Inc. Any person from any Christian denomination or religious persuasion interested in peace and justice is invited to attend. The conference kicks offat 9 a.m. and ends with a reception at 4:15 p.m. The Rev. J. Bryan Hehir,Th.D., a professor of the Practice of Religion and Society at Harvard Divinity School, will give the keynote address and a liturgy will be celebrated at 3 p.m., by Bishop Michael Saltarelli of the Diocese of Wilmington. There will be 10 workshops, from which two may be chosen. The cost is $15 per person and $5 for high school and college students, which includes continental breakfast and lunch. Registration forms may be obtained from St. Edmond's/St. Jude's, Rehoboth Beach. First Baptist Church sets revival services April 13-18 Evangelist Lin Croxton will conduct revival services at the First Baptist Church of Lewes, Sunday through Friday, April 13-18. The Sunday services begin at 11 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., with the weeknight services at 7 p.m. Croxton holds B.A. and M.A. degrees from Bob Jones University and has conducted meetings in 37 states and six foreign countries.
