The money was raised through donations made to the "Cones for Kids" Campaign. For a one dollar donation, guests were offered five Valentines cards, each redeemable for a free Friendly's Kid Cone, or a coupon booklet with savings of over $9 on some of Friendly's fa- vorites. Additional dollars were raised through yard sales, book sales, bowl-a-thons, raffles and car washes organized by Friend- ly's personnel.
