48 FRIDAY. APRIL 6-MONDAY, APRIL 9, 2012 BUSINESS & REAL ESTATE Cape Gazette HENRY J. EVANS JR. PHOTO GUY STUFF consignment shop owners Bob and Mal Ward's store in Lewes has items for guys and gals. The new location on Savannah Road has collectibles and a room featuring decorative items for the home. Stuff makes a Lewes shop fills many manly needs By Henry J. Evans Jr. hevans@ca pegazette.com (,) Edward Jones MAKING SENSE OF INVESTING Someone who has never visit- ed Guy Stuff in Lewes has a pretty goo'd idea what they'll find inside - guy stuff. Owners, brothers Bob and Mal Ward, said although the consignment shop is called Guy Stuff, women are welcome. It says so on the sign outside above the door. The business's previous name was The Men's Exchange. In November, the Wards also changed the name. They moved the business from its original location on Savannah Road to a larger building across the street. "The good thing is we haven't lost anybody. We get a lot a sup- port from the local community," Bob said. Since the shop opened a little more than a year ago, the own- ers said items are priced to sell, and their aim is to satisfy cus- tomers so they'll come back to buy or consign other items. The shop has a variety of hand and power tools to help get jobs done. Someone in search of a t0ol - anything like a screwdriver, hammer, nail punch or adjustable wrench - could find it in the shop at a fraction of what it would cost purchased new. They also have a few col- lectible items, such as vintage Sports Illustrated magazines and die-cast miniature vehicles. The shop features a growing selection of sports equipment, bicycles of several styles and sizes, and bicycle parts. The brothers plan to begin selling a selection of new surf-fishing rods. "We'll have rods that are 6 to 9 feet long," Bob said. Guy Stuffis at 16239 Savannah Road, near the railroad tracks.
