if 80 FP~I DAY APRIL 6 - MONDAY, APRIL 9, 2012 VFW PRESENTS COMPUTERS TO DELAWARE VETERANS HOME ~& STEVEN BILLUPS PHOTO • VETERANS OF FOREIGN WARS POST 7447 pi'esented three computers and a printer to the residents of the Delaware Veterans Home in Milford March 21. After a request for computers from an official at the Delaware Vet- erans Home, VFW Post 7447 used the funds from its 2011 golf tournament to purchase three computers for the veterans to be used to communicate with friends and families. In addition, Post 7447 presented a check in the amount of $500 for cables, CDs, ink cartridges and paper for the printer. Plans are un- der way for computer classes at the veterans home to instruct th veterans in the use of the internet, social media and making of electric scrapbooks.
