He leaves behind many friends with whom he created many memories. He was a gentle, lov- ing man who made friends easily and wholeheartedly. Denny proudly and honorably served his country with four years in the U.S. Navy and the National Guard Reserves. He was an oral surgical assistant while stationed in San Diego and Napa, Calif. He later worked as a dental prosthetic technician prior to embarking on a 30-year career with Pfizers Inc., then continued on with Minerals Technologies Inc. in Easton, Pa., where he was a furnace operator. He retired in 2005, relocating to Delaware. Services were held privately. A military funeral was his lifelong wish. Mary Jo Wilhelm Tyndall, retired teacher Mary ](3 Wilhelm Tyndall, 93, of Rehoboth Beach, died quietly Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at the Delaware Hospice Center, Mil- ford. She had enjoyed good health and a happy life until the last. She was born Nov. 14, 1920, in Wilm- ington, and was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. She taught elementary school and ended her 26- year teaching career in 1975 in the Mount Pleasant School District in Wilming- ton. She lived in Barefoot Bay, Fla., for Mary JoWilhelm 19 years with her husband, Thomas Woodrow Tyndall, who died in 1989. She enjoyed golf, bridge and was a world traveler. Surviving are her daughter, Judith T.
