APRIL 11 - MONDAY, APRIL 14. 2014 G Celebrating Service at Cadbury at Lewes 2013 Social Accountability Report to the Sussex County Community The Cadbury at Lewes mission is to "provide excellent care in settings where residents and staff can thrive." WE ARE NOT-FOR-PROnT • We are governed by a local volunteer Board of Directors, • We have no shareholders or stockholders, . We were developed to meet the needs of the Sussex County Community. ' Our excess revenues are used to promote our mission and stay in the community for the community. ' Our mission is to "provide excellent care in settings where residents and staff can thrive." WE ARE ACCOUNTABLE • We are among one of the largest employers in Sussex County, with a large base of professionals dedicated and trained to provide housing, services, and healthcare to older adults. • We have a long term commitment to Sussex County and the Lewes/Rehoboth area. • We believe we have a role as a community leader and catalyst toward serving older adults. . Cadbury at Lewes management provides local, state, and national leadership in interests that affect older adults. WE ARE SERVING THE COMMUNITY (data for 2013) • Cadbury at Lewes's total persons served: - 157 apartment and cottage residents. - 72 Assisted Living and Memory Care residents. • 288 individuals throughout the year in Skilled Care living. • Cadbur at Lewes provided meaningful employment for 201 individuals in 2013, with a payroll ef $5,265,630. much of which is spent in this area. • Our residents and board members contributed 4.175 volunteer hours to the well being of the community. * Our staff provided 1,214 hours in community leadership, valued at S48,560 • Cadbury at Lewes provided clinical and classroom space to train 201 em [)loyees, and 88.708 hours of training for the community. • Our residents and employees donated 250 toys to Toys for Tots. • Cadbur at Lewes recycled more than 40,000 pounds of recyclable material. • We offered $71,590 in uncompensated care, • We donated $30?.996 worth of goods and services to our residents and the greater community.
