Ellen Hart and/esse Chandler; 4 Martin and Paula Martinac of p.m., Marianne K. Martin. Bywater Books will be at Proud BoOks on Baltimore Avenue in Rehoboth Beach Friday, April 11, to read from their works. Beginning at noon, the book- store will host these and other authors, and welcome their fans and prospective readers who want to hear the authors read from their newest works. Joining the three Bywater Books authors at Proud will be mystery writer Jesse Chandler and best-selling fiction writers RE Bradshaw, Ann McMan and Salem West. The event runs from noon to 5 p.m., with the following schedule: at noon, local writers, including Claire Snyder Hall and Fay ]a- cobs; 1 p.m., Salem West and Ann McMan; 2 p.m., RE Bradshaw; 3 "This is an amazing lineup of authors - all of them are hugely popular nationwide, with a slew of awards among them. We are so fortunate to have them join us here in Rehoboth, "says local author Fay Jacobs, who organizes the literary offerings in conjunc- tion with the CAMP Rehoboth Women's FEST. AMERICAN LEGION POST 28 SUPPORTS SUSSEX HABITAT WITH $2,431 DONATION SUBMITTED PHOTO AMERICAN LEGION Post 28 recently raised $2,431 to support the work of Sussex County Habitat for Humanity. The funds came from the raf- fle of a lawnmower donated by Husqvarna through Baker's Hardware in Millsboro and were used to help build Habitat's first Veteran Build home for Marl Ellyn Hellard and her family. Hellard now serves with Habitat as a member of the AmeriCorps program.
