35 - CAPE GAZETI, Friday, April 18- April 24 1997 Kerry Kester photos Children busy, happy and healthy at YMCA "Healthy Kids Day" The Sussex YMCA held "Healthy Kids Day q7  on Saturday, April 12 at its Rehoboth Beach facility. The theme for this year's event was "Celebrate Kids' Health in Spirit, Mind and Body.  Activities included a water safety presentation from the Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotil. la of Lewes, a family walk, vision testing, fitness testing, a karate class demonstration, fitness activities, a first aid presentation, a gymnastic class demonstration, a roller.skating demon- stration, and family swims and games. Additionally, John Ludwicki, M.D., a Lewes pediatri. clan, spoke on ear infections. Cardiac support group to meet April 14 at Beebe Hearbeats, a support group for cardiac patients, their families and oth- er interested people, will meet at 4:30 p.m. on Monday, April 14 in the Cardiac Rehabilitation Department. The support group is sponsored by the American Heart Association and Beebe Medical Center. Call 645- 3514 for information. Beebe offers free glucose testing April 16 Beebe Medical Center will offer free blood glucose testing, 1-3 p.m., April 16, 23 and 30 in the phlebotomy lab on the fLrst floor of the hospi- tal. Persons taking the test should do so two hours after eating a normal meal. Call 645-3568 to make an appointment. Infant and child CPR course set for April 17 Beebe Medical Center will hold an infant and child CPR course from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, April 17 in the second floor education classroom at the hospital.
