CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, April 21 - April 27, 1995 - 25 Church Sche,hle Church Notes Fund to help rebuild Carey's Camp tents The circle of "tents" at Carey's Camp west of Millsboro was temporarily broken when three tents were destroyed and one heavily damaged by an arson fire on March 23. A fund has now been established to help the owners to rebuild and repair the tents. Anyone interested in contributing to the fund can send a check to: Carey's Camp, Special Fund, c/o Thurman Anderson, 985 E. Market Street, Georgetown, DE 19947. First Baptist Church sets revival services The First Baptist Church of Lewes, Kings Highway in Lewes, has announced that evangelist Lin Croxton of Simpsonville, S.C. will conduct a week of revival services beginning Sunday, April 23 and continuing through Friday, April 28. The services are scheduled for I 1 ,t.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, and 7:30 p.m. on weeknights. Croxton has traveled as an evangelist since i 973. He has preached in 37 states and six foreign countries, and has conducted more than 500 meetings. His ministry is Bible-centered and places emphasis on the home and family responsibilities. During the week, Mrs. Croxton will conduct Bible classes for children while her husband preaches. The public is invited to attend. Israel UM Church slates special services Israel United Methodist Church, Five Points near Lewes, has announced two upcoming special services. On Sunday, April 30, the church will observe Friends and Family Day with a service at 3 p.m. Rev. Robert Clogg and choir from the Church of God in Seaford will be special guests.
