Briefly Continued from page 60 Rehoboth Beach, are planning Cigar Dinner Extravaganzas on the second Saturday of each month in May through September (May 13, June 10, July 8, Aug. 12 and Sept. 9). Each evening kicks off with a cash bar at 6 p.m., followed by dinner and cognac or port wine and dessert. At 9 p.m. there will be a discus- sion about cigars, with guest speakers on cigars and wines slat- ed at each four-course dinner, along with good conversation. A quality box of cigars will be given as a door prize and a selection of fine cigars will be provided for dining enjoyment. Dinners are $65, inclusive of gratuity, and will be held in a pri- vate room with adequate ventila- tion. May and June menus include: May 13 - blackened scallops with lemon angel hair pasta; Caesar salad, pork loin au poivre and cal- vados poached pears in dark chocolate; and June 10 - vegetable strudel, mushroom consomm6, tomatoes of beef with Roquefort bordelaise and creme caramel. Market owner Brad Alwood, shown with Ritter, offered this Second Chance Drawing to anyone wishing to bring in non-winning lottery tickets, and other prizes were also awarded. Alwood said he plans to hold such drawings on a regular basis. Ritter won $156 from the 300 instant tickets she received.
