6- CAPE , Friday, AprUm, My 2, mS6 Aeromedic evacuation exe set May 2.5 A friendly invasion will take place in early May at the Delaware Na- tional Guard Bethany Beach Training Site and the Georgetown Airport. A combined aeromedical evacuation exercise will involve 135 members of the 4626 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force and approximately 90 members of the Delaware Air National Guard. The Air Guard's 142 Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron is host- ing "Exercise Sentry Ocean Angel" from May 2-5 at the Bethany and Georgetown sites. The two aeromedical squadrons are very similar, each comprised of nurses, medical technicians, medical administrators and communication specialists. The evacuation scenario has patients being moved from a simulated combat area to a field level medical treatment facility at Bethany. Then the simulated patients will be moved via ground ambulance or air ambulance to the MASF at Georgetown. Members of the Knights of Columbus gather for an officer installation Mass recently at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Bethany Beach. Knights of Columbus hold installation The beauty and pagentry of a wonderful spring evening played host to the Officers Installation Mass at the Parish of St. Ann, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Thursday evening, April 18. The southern Delaware contin- gent of the Knights of Columbus, more properly known as the Fa- ther Vincent R. Capodanno As- sembly had their officers installed at a special mass hosted by Rev. John J. Masterson, Pastor. Father Masterson was accompa- nied by Father Siry, the Knights of Columbus religious leader, and Master Robert Wiley of the State's Honor Guard. The church was filled with Knights of Columbus State Offi- cers, District leaders, and Council members from Lewes, George- town, Millsboro, Laurel and Seaford. After mass, the new Assembly Officers and their ladies met at the Harbor Lights Restaurant, Rt. 1, Bethany Beach, for a buffet. The owners, Jim and Dee Collins went out of their way to provide a beau- tiful setting overlooking the bay at sunset. The Fourth (or Patriotic) Degree originated on February 22, 1990, the first exemplification of that degree was held in New York City. The ritual adds patriotism to the three original principles of the Knights of Columbus: charity, unity, and fraternity. Any Third Degree member in good standing is eligible and urged to seek mem- bership in the Fourth Degree. The primary purpose of the Fourth Degree is to foster the spir- it of patriotism by promoting re- sponsible citizenship and a love of and loyalty to the United States of America through active member- ship in the Assembly. mOIOmOmOIOmOmOmOmOnOIOIOmOmOl CASINO NIGHT i i Friday, MAY 3 _o _o 00e.m .o l00.m. .o Door Prizes o.
