Girl Scouts announce summer camps Girls across the Delmarva Pen- insula will soon be packing their knapsacks and duffle bags for summer camp! Don't miss the opportunity to sign up a special girl for a week or more of fun, ad- venture, and education at one of four Girl Scout camps through- out the region. More than just games and roasting marshmallows, sum- mer camps develop leadership skills and self-esteem. Girls today want experiences that give them the opportunity to try something new and improve their confi- dence while making friends and having fun. With a solid commit- ment to understanding the needs of girls today, Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay camp staff are dedicated to helping girls reach their highest potential. Girls do not have to be regis- tered Girl Scouts to participate in summer camp programs. Girl Scout programs are affordable, and financial aid is available. For a complete list of summer pro- grams, visit www.camp.GSCB. org. For more information about Girl Scouts or summer programs, call 800-341-4007.
