Briefly The week will begin on Mother&apos;s Day with the traditional Mother's Day Tea, and will continue with a trip to the 'old west.' The activi- ties department will be re-creating Dodge City and organizing events including cow milking, a visit from a local blacksmith, a square dance, a shoot-out at the O.K. Corral, a western sing-along, a buffalo chip contest and other theme-oriented programs. During the week, all mail will be deliv- ered by 'pony express.' For infor- mation, call 645-4664. Esham honored Logan B. Esham, daughter of Bill and Aleta Esham of Millsboro, was crowned Miss Job's Daughter of Delaware on March 15 at the Scottish Rite Cathedral in Wilming. to,,- Logan has been in Job's Daughter's for five years, and is presently the Honored Queen of Bethel #5 in George- town. Lewes Lions' yard sale slated for May 17 Lewes Lions Club will hold their annual yard sale on Saturday, May 17, from 7 a.m. to noon at 1511 Savannah Road in Lewes. Proceeds from the event will sup- port Lions sight, hearing and dia- betic programs. Anyone wishing to donate quality items such as tools or sports equipment, etc. should call 645-1539, 645-5397, 645-6117 or 645-8998. Pick up can be arranged. Harbor Health chooses Nursing Home Week theme Harbor Healthcare in Lewes will mark May 11-17, National Nursing Home Week, with activi- ties and events celebrating the Milton Library holds benefit sale The Milton Public Library will offer various items, including signed copies of bestsellers by lo- cal author Ed Dee to raise J funds for library programs and mated- als. Signed hardcover copies of Little Boy Blue are $23 and copies of Bronx Angel are $21.95. Paperback copies of 14 Peck Slip are $5.99. Other items for sale in- clude tote bags embroidered with the library logo, with large totes available for $25 and a small tote for $20. Woodblock replicas of lo- cal landmarks including the li- brary, St. John's Episcopal Church and Wagamons Mill, will be sold for $12, and Civil War posters are $25. Sussex AARP to meet May 13 The Southeastern Sussex Area Chapter #3542 of AARP will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, May 13 at the Bay Center in Dewey Beach.
