Rehoboth Main Street honors
Gazette, signs grant receipts
membership continues to grow,
with more than 200 downtown
businesses now participating. In
the past year the organization pro-
vided 11 matching sign grants and
three faqade grants to members,
and launched a local and regional
advertising program for down-
town.
In the only official business of
the evening, the members reelect-
ed Clint Bunting of Penny Lane
Mall, Bette Gallo of Prudential
Gallo Realtors and Richard Dar-
ley of the Rehoboth Historical So-
ciety to the Main Street board of
directors.
Inez Conover, proprietor of the
Sea Witch Manor Inn, was also
elected to the board. They join di-
rectors Tom Ibach of Dolles Can-
dyland and Ibachs, Bob Derrick-
son of Carlton's, Kathy McGui-
ness of Long and Foster Realtors,
Alexander Yearly of Community
Pride Financial Services and Chip
Thompson of Atlantic Horizons.

Rehoboth Beach Main Street
Inc. held its annual meeting and
election, April 23, at Victoria's at
the Boardwalk Plaza Hotel.
With an ocean backdrop and a
lavish buffet provided by the ho-
tel, members mingled and cele-
brated a successful year for Main
Street. In addition, the organiza-
tion presented awards to Cape
Gazette publisher Dennis Forney,
photographer Kevin Fleming and
numerous businesses for their
new front lit signs and updated fa-
cades.
