Rated PG-13. The Lizzy McGnire Movie: Lizzie McGuire (Hilary Duff) graduates from junior high school and takes a summer trip to Italy. Hi jinx ensue when she is mistak- en for an Italian pop star. House of l,O@0 Corpses: White Zombie frontman Rob Zombie mke.s a turn in the direc- tor's chair with this tale about two young couples in the 19705 who take a wrong turn in search of lo- cal legend Dr. Satan. The four- some ends up lost, stranded and pursued by a family of psy- chopaths. Strong sadistic vio- lence and gore are - not surpris- ingly - a hallmark of Zombie's foray into a thousand horrors. The Real Cancun: From the producers of "Real World" and "Road Rules," this not-so-inven- tive nod to reality shows focuses on a real-life cast of people ex- ploring the limits of spring break in Cancun, Mexico. Rated R. Confidence: Con-man Ed Burns' latest seam ends him up in trouble with the mafia. Malibu's Most Wanted: A wannabe rap star from Malibu, Brad Gluckman (Jamie Kennedy) is also the son of a gnbernatodal candidate. Concerned his son's antics may embarass him during his campaign, Brad's rich dad hires two actors to disguise them- selves as gangsta rappers, kidnap his son and take him to the "real hood" in Compton in an effort to scare him. Rated PG-13. Anger Management:. Adam Sandier is a mild-mmutered busi- nessman wrongly accused of a crime and sentenced to an anger 1995 album, the Grammy-nomi- hated "Turn It Ont. Turn It Up!:' was a remarkable mix of big band swing and rock 'n' roll, giving them credibility with the rock ra- dio audience without abandoning their blues roots. What a Girl Wants: Teen Amanda Bynes is raised by her mother, a professional singer (Kelly Preston), in New York City. She's off to London in search of her long-lost British fa- ther (Colin Firth). Once she ar- rives in teh UK, Bynes finds her American lifestyle clashes with that of her father's aristocratic so- cial circle. Rated PG. Plmae Booth: A man (colin Fame) using a phone booth is be- ing watched by a rooftop sniper (Kief Smhedand). Faneil must choose between staying in the phone booth to savehis life or risk leaving the booth to elude the killer. Also stars Katie Holmes and Foreest Whitaker. Directed by Joel Schumacher (also directed "Flatliners," which also starred Sutherland). Rated R. Bade: Agent John Travolta is called on to investigate the disap- pearances of Army cadets and their drill instructor (Samuel L. Jaskson) during a basic training camp exercise. Rated R. Head of State: When the president suddenly dies, the De- mocrats elect alderman Chris Rock as his replacement. The ulikely candidate proves he's got what it takes to fill in as head of state. Rated PG-13. Piglet's Big Movie: The smallest member of the Pooh en- tourage finds himself the hero as he saves his friends in the Hun- drnd Acre Wood. Rated G: Agent Cody Banks: "Mal- colm in the Middle" star Frankie Muniz is just like any other teen. He loves hanging with his friends, feels like an idiot around girls and likes to skateboard a lot.
