Marshall Reynolds of Milton (left) has been named a Melvin Jones Fellow by Lions Club International Foundation in recognition of his commitment to serving the world community. A 26- year member of the Milton Lions Club, Reynolds is very active, having served as pres- ident twice, and is the fifth Milton Lion to receive this highest Lion award. He is shown accepting his plaque from President Bill Fisher. Named for the founder of Lions Clubs International, Melvin Jones, the fellowship is bestowed in recognition of a commitment to humanltari. an service. As a Melvin Jones Fellow, Reynolds becomes a part of a growing network of individuals who are commit- ted "to improving the quality of life for people locally and in communities around the world. Lions Clubs Interna- tional is the world's largest service club organization. As the charitable arm of the as. sociation, Lions Clubs act as stewards of the financial re- sources that are disbursed for humanitarian causes. Norris A. Beauchamp, General Motors worker Norris A. Beauchamp, 70, of Greenwood, died Wednesday, May 3, 1995, of a heart attack in Milford Memorial Hospital. Mr. Beauchamp worked at Gen- eral Motors for 20 years, retiring in 1985. During World War H he was an Army infantryman in cen- tral Europe and later served in the Air Force. He was a member of the American Legion in Harring- ton and the Veterans of Foreign WarsPost in Milford. He enjoyed bluegrass music. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ida E. Beauchamp; two sons, Donald of Greenwood and William of Raleigh, N.C.; a daughter Lisa Beauchamp of Lewes; two sisters, Louise Gerar- di of Hickman, Md. and Maude Hunter of Philadelphia, Pa.; a brother, Lester of New Castle; and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Fleischauer Funeral Home, West Market Street in Greenwood, where friends may call at 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Cemetery in the veter- ans' Garden of Honor, Dover. Frank Panfile, retired lab technician Frank Panfile, 75, of Boothwyn, Pa., died Tuesday, May 2, 1995, of heart failure in Crozer Chester Medical Center, Upland, Pa. Mr. Panfile was a lab technician at Air Products Inc., formerly Houdray Co. in Linwood, Pa., for BLUEWATER POOLS& SPAS 671 Highway One over Nassau Bridge 35 years, retiring in 1983. He was a radar mechanic and navigational instructor in the Army Air Corps during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Rapposelli Panfile; a daughter, Linda Moran Kelley of Harrisburg, Pa.; five sons, Michael F. of Chester, Pa., Timothy F. of Boothwyn, John F. of Linwood, Joseph F. of Lewes and Robert F. of Keyport, N.J.; a brother, Patrick of Stowe, Pa.; a sister, Anna Confino of Pottstown, Pa.; and two great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 6, at Ward Funeral Home in Linwood, Pa., where friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Friday, May 5. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9 a.m. at Immaculate Conception of Lourdes Catholic Church in Marcus Hook, Pa. Burial will be- in Immaculate Heart of Mary Cemetery, Linwood.
