Baystar
planning
auditions
The Baystar Dinner Theatre will
hold auditions at the Sea Horse
Restaurant, Rehoboth Beach, at 7
p.m., both Sunday and Monday,
May 21-22 for "Let's Twist
Again", a golden memories revue
of the music and crazes of the 50s
and 60s.
"Let's Twist Again" is directed
by Marjorie Eckerd of Dagsboro
and produced by Mikki Kahne of
Lewes and runs at the Baystar
Dinner Theatre from July 6
through Aug. 11. Men and
women who can sing and/or dance
are needed for the cast.
Those who may be interested in
auditioning early for "South Pa-
cific", the Rodgers and Hammer-
stein Broadway classic which is
coming to Baystar in mid-August,
may do so on either of the "Let's
Twist Again" dates. Other audi-
tions for "South Pacific" will be
held in mid-June.
Those who cannot make the
scheduled audition dates and
those interested in working with
"Let's Twist Again" in a technical
capacity should call Eekerd at

All members of the cast and tech-
nical crew are compensated
through a royalty contract, with
payment based upon a percentage
of the house.
The Baystar Dinner Theatre is
located in the Sussex Room, away
from the main dining room. For

Ag museum to
host sheep
shearing event
The Delaware Agricultural
Museum and Village will host
the annual Springtime on the
Farm, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.,
Saturday, May 20.
This living history event re-
creates the 1890s and gives
visitors a feel for the era.
Guides and interpreters are
dressed for the time period
and take part in activities re-
lated to those undertaken on a
rural farm in the spring.
Demonstrations include gar-
dening, spinning and weaving,
blacksmithing and sheep
sheering. Wagon rides and
19th century games are in-
cluded, as is music and food.
At 4 p.m., there will be danc-
ing and games in the Exhibit
Hall during a old-fashioned
barn dance. Cake walks,
square dancing and traditional
music will fill the evening.

RAL plans cottage tour
Preparations are underway for the Rehoboth Art
League's 46th Annual Cottage Tour of Homes, to be held
Tuesday and Wednesday, July 11-12 from noon to 5 p.m.
Ten outstanding locations will be featured on the tour,
including the RAL's scenic grounds, galleries and historic
mansion.

Auditions set May 24 for
Summer Children's Theater
The Rehoboth Summer Chil- and "The Legend of Finn Me-
dren's Theatre will hold auditions
for its 1995 season of shows on
Wednesday, May 24, beginning at
7 p.m. in the performing hall of
Epworth Methodist Church, Balti-
more Ave., Rehoboth Beach.
RSCT is looking for an actor
and actress to perform in the dy-
namic two-actor story theatre
plays that are the hallmark of this
resident professional company.
Participants will play multiple
characters in three separate pro-
ductions, "Aladdin", "Pinocchio"
Cool". Candidates should be
skilled in a variety of accents and
characterizations and physical
comedy. The auditions will con-
sist of three activities - comic im-
provisation, script readings and
movement. "Aladdin" and
"Pinocchio" will be featured in
the repertory series at the theatre.
"The Legend of Finn McCool"
will tour Kent and Sussex libraries
and recreation centers. For more
