Cape Gazette NEWS FRIDAY, MAY 19 - MONDAY, MAY 22, 2017 31 Mildred Irene Esham, devoted to family Mildred Irene Esham, 88, of Dagsboro passed away in the care of her family and the Dela- ware Hospice at her residence Mother’s Day, May 14, 2017. She was born in Selbyville, June 19, 1928, to the late Ja m e s a n d Hattie Bunting Shockley. She was married, and widowed twice in the loss of two spouses: Rus- sell J. Davis and Paul J. Es- ham. Between them, she had five children, losing two of them early in life. She was a devout Christian woman who loved, and lived for children. She was devoted to her family and to church, and kept an immaculate house. She loved flowers. She was a member of the Selbyville Assembly of God. She is survived by three chil- dren: Valerie Chandler and husband Terry of Millsboro, La- verne Gland of Millsboro; and Barry J. and wife Tammy of Dags- boro. She is also survived by a sister: Pricilla Butler of Millsboro; four grandchildren: Timothy Chandler, Merrill Mitchell, Jamie Esham and Brandon Esham. She has two great-grandchildren: Timothy Chandler Jr. and Tra- vis Griffith. Also surviving are extended family members, and many, many friends. Mildred thought the world of everybody, and everybody was her friend. In addition to her parents, and two spouses, she was preceded by two sons: Russell Davis and William Davis; and three siblings: Martin Shockley, Russell Shock- ley and Gary Lee Shockley. A Memorial Service and Cel- ebration of her Life was held Thursday, May 18, at Watson Funeral Home, Millsboro, with Pastor Leroy Weymouth officiat- ing. Interment followed at Beth El Tabernacle, Clarksville. Diana Lynn Moyer, loved her family DianaLynnMoyer,65,ofOcean View, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Renaissance Health- care in Millsboro, where she had been a resident since Septem- ber 2016. She was born Sunday, June 24, 1951, in Sinking Spring, Pa., daughter of the late Paul H. Ruth and Nancy (Lei- sey) Wentzel. Mrs. Moyer was a 1969 graduate of Reading Se- n i o r H i g h School. She recently worked at the Jockey Outlet in Rehoboth Beach, retiring in 2013. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sis- ter, aunt, and friend, and she will be genuinely missed by everyone who knew her.
