The exhibit Wings, Fins and Crawly Things will be open to the public through Tuesday, May 30. Moffatt is a landscape painter yet an intuitive painter, painting from the inside out. Working in acrylic, she says her paintings are daydreams, imaginings, medita- tions of places remembered or dreamt. She is a graduate of Ce- dar Crest College, Allentown, Pa., and has been an active member of the Art League of Alexandria in the Torpedo Factory and the Loft Gallery, Occoquan, Va. Mof- fatt moved to Delaware in 2016 and loves painting its incredible local landscape. The new Gallery One poster features Fins, Wings and Crawly Things, an assortment of life at the Delaware coastline. Birds are prominent in the big sky of the Delaware landscape. Artist Pat Riordan's acrylic "Home Sweet Home" portrays a giant nest of ospreys often seen in the back bays. Rina Thaler's acrylic "Seagull" shows the graceful glide of a gull in the sky. Jeanne Mueller, in her oil "Early Morn- ing Feeding," shows sandpipers as they skitter around for their food. "Jumping for Joy" acrylic by Dale Sheldon captures the mo- ment of a huge frothy splash from dancing and playful dol- phins offshore. Every year, Ocean City's White Marlin Tournament captures local headlines, and Joyce Condry's "Catch Me If You Can" shows the hard fight of a leaping marlin.
