The following movies are now playing in the resort area: • Breakdown - Kurt Russell stars as a man who tries to rescue his wife after the couple has car trouble on a deserted interstate. Rated R. • Father's Day - Funny men Robin Williams and Billy Crystal make their first movie appearance together in this paternal comedy. Rated PG- 13. • The Lost World: Jurassic Park: Something has survived... It looks as though it may have been the sequel to Steven Spiel- berg's monster box office hit. Stars Jeff Goldblum. Rated PG 13. • Addicted to Love: The per- fect date movie for anyone who's ever been dumped. Starring Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick ("Ferris Bueller's Day Off"), this movie is sure to satisfy all of your revenge fantasies. Rated R. • Austin Powers - International Man of Mystery: Mike Myers (Saturday Night Live and Wayne's World) makes a "most excellent" showing as the title character in this flick. Rated PG- 13. • Volcano - Tommy Lee Jones takes the hot seat of this natural disaster thriller, which is set in Los Angeles. The popular catch phrase "The Coast is Toast" has already hit the streets in the movie's trailers and in magazine and newspaper ad campaigns. Ex- pect the film to smoke up the big screen in the same fashion, plac- ing it among the elite quicker than a brush fire. Rated PG-13. • Anaconda - A film crew on the Amazon stumbles across the killer snake. Stars Ice Cube, Jen- nifer Lopez, Jon Voight and Eric Stoltz. Rated PG-13. • Romy & Michelle's High School Reunion - Mira Sorvino and Lisa Kudrow star as high school misfits who revisit the good old days. Cusack al- so wrote and produced the movie. Rated R. • Liar Liar - Jim Carrey is no George Washington in this new comedy. Because of a wish made by his young son, his character cannot tell a lie. Rated PG-13. • Jerry Maguire - Tom Cruise plays a high-powered sports agent who works for a high-profile sports management agency. Cruises' Maguire stumbles into a new kind of life with single mom Dorothy (played by newcomer Rennee Zellweger). Cuba Good- ing, Jr. raked inan Oscar for his role as a pro football star.
