The following movies are now playing in the resort area: Breakdown, Kurt Russell stars as a man who tries to rescue his wife after the couple has car trouble on a deserted interstate. Rated R. Trial and Error - Michael Richards plays an out-of-work ac- tor who poses as an attorney to de- fend a man on trial for fraud. Also stars Jeff Daniels, Alexandra Wentwork. Rated PG- 13. Gone Fishin' - Danny Glover and Joe Pesci are "cast" as life- long pals Gus and Joe who fall hook, line and sinker into trouble with hilarious consequences. Rat- ed PG. Night Falls on Manhattan - Based on the Robert Daley novel "Tainted Evidence," this film stars Andy Garcia, Lena Olin, Richard Dreyfuss, Ian Holm and Ron Leibman. A smart, grown-up film dealing with the shadowlands be- tween good and evil. Rated R. Father's Day - Funny men Robin Williams and Billy Crystal make their first movie appearance together in this paternal comedy. Rated PG- 13. The Lost World: Jurassic Park - Something has survived... It looks as though it may have been the sequel to Steven Spiel- berg's monster box office hit. Stars Jeff Goldblum. Rated PG 13. Addicted to Love - The per- fect date movie for anyone who's everbeen dumped. Starring Meg Ryan and Matthew Broderick ("Ferris Bueller's Day Off"), this movie is sure to satisfy all of your revenge fantasies. Rated R. Austin Powers - International Man of Mystery: Mike Myers (Saturday Night Live and Wayne's World) makes a "most excellent" showing as the title character in this flick. Myers stars as a 1960's throw-back who at- tempts to re-capture his glory days as a polyester-wearing, eight- track playing Romeo caught in a time warp of Secret Agent Man proportions. Rated PG- 13. Volcano - Tommy Lee Jones takes the hot seat of this natural disaster thriller, which is set in Los Angeles. The popular catch phrase "The Coast is Toast" has already hit the streets in the movie's trailers and in magazine and newspaper ad campaigns. Ex- pect the film to smoke up the big screen in the same fashion, plac- ing it among the elite quicker than a brush fire. Rated PG-13. Gross Pointe Blank - Despite the fact that he's a felon, John Cu- sack ("The Sure Thing") can't help but attract the affection of Minnie Driver ("Circle of Friends") in this unique look at modern day romance. Bill Bennett provided piano ac- companiment and helped direct the chorus. Student Lou was not only a Gin- gerbread Child, she also played violin for the production.
