FRIDAY, MAY 30- MONDAY, JUNE 2. 2008 CAPE LIFE cape Qazette Search on for Ms. Wheelchair contestants Applications are now being ac- cepted for the title of Ms. Wheel- chair Delaware, USA. The win- ner will represent Delaware in August, competing against 50 other state representatives, for the national title of Ms. Wheel- chair USA. The Ms. Wheelchair USA program is dedicated to cel- ebrating the abilities and suc- cessful accomplishments of women with disabilities. This year, one representative will be selected from each state based on the judging of their offi- cial State Representative Appli- cation Package. Judging of the Official Contestant Application, Contestant Platform Statement, two recommendation letters and an overall impression score will result in the state titleholder se- lections. To qualify, contestants must be women ages 18 and older by July 30. There is no "age limit" in this competition. Contestants must utilize a wheelchair as their main source of mobility;, however, this program does not exclude women who may be able to uti- lize their legs. Contestants must be residents or students in Delaware for at least two months, may be married, single or divorced. Contestants may have children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, or no chil- dren. The winner of the Ms. LUNCH IS .BACK! 7 Days a Week Specials through June 1 5 Sunday: i Monday: Tuesday: Delaware title will receive an of- ficial MWUSA crown, banner, and qualify for the live competi- tion and show Aug. 7-10, in Akron/Cleveland, Ohio. This nationally televised competition promises exciting activities, fam- ily fun, friendly competitions, and is designed to showcase the successful stories of women who have overcome obstacles and are uniquely contributing to our so- ciety. The state competition fee is $200.
