Cape Gazette ARTS & ENTERTAINMENT FRIDAY, MAY 30- MONDAY, JUNE 2, 200S m !::i!ii II!I!S Possum Point Players announce tryout dates June 9-10 for holiday show The Possum Point Players will hold auditions for a musical ver- sion of "A Christmas Carol" at 7 p.m., Monday and Tuesday, June 9 and 10, at Possum Hall, 441 Old Laurel Highway, Georgetown. Though rehearsals will not begin until the fall, the early auditions come because of costume de- mands for the show and the large size of the cast needed for the productiorL Those auditioning should come with a prepared solo vocal selection. An accompanist will be provided or auditioners may bring CD or other accompani- ment. There will be cold read- ings from the script, also. The cast calls for a minimum of 28 adults and 10 children and young adults. All ages are welcome. A few good dancers are needed, al- so. Performance dates will be Fri- day-Sunday, Dec. 5-7 and 12-14. Those unavailable for the audi- tion dates or des'Lring to help out backstage should contact the di- rector, Nina Galerstein, at 228- 5949.
