A gala opening reception for an exhibit
of photographs by Brian Peterson and
ceramics by Ernest Satchell will be held
from 5-7 p.m. at the Rehoboth Art LeAgue,
12 Dodds Lane, Henlopen Acres, Rehoboth
Beach. The reception is free and open to
the public. The exhibit will continue
through July 13.
OF COMMUNITY EVENTS
A Casino Night, sponsored by Cape
Henlopen Elks Lodge, Route 23 near Five
Points, will be held from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Admission is $3 and includes refreshments.
You must be 21 years of age to enter.
A yard sale, sponsored by Cool Spring
Presbyterian Church, will begin at 8 a.m. in
the community hall on Route 9. For more

Sat. June 3
Pinewater Farm Civic Association will
host a community yard sale on Sussex 49
from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Rain date is June 4.

The tenants of Colonial East will hold
their annual yard sale in the meadow (at the
entrance of the community) at Route 1 near
Midway. Linens, pots and pans and other
household items, as well as antique dishes
and furniture will be for sale. Hot dogs and
soda also will be available. Rain date is
Saturday, June 10.
A Volunteer Trail Work Day will be
held at Cape Henlopen State Park from 9
a.m. to noon. Participants should meet in
the Seaside Nature Center parking lot.
Tools and work gloves will be provided.
This month's project will be the Seaside

A yard and bake sale, sponsored by
Henlopen Grange No. 20, will begin at 8
a.m. at Grange Hall on Savannah Road in
Lewes. Tables are available to rent. For

A chicken and dumpling dinner will be
served from 1-6:30 p.m. at Christ's Church
in Harbeson (Sussex 48 and Route 23).

Young Adult Groups of Israel United
Methodist Church, will begin at noon at
Rabbit's Ferry Community Hall. In addi-
tion to games and other activities, there will

Greenwood Mennonite School will host
its ninth annual Spring Festival beginning
with breakfast served from 7:30-10 a.m.
Festival booths will be open from 9 a.m. to
4 p.m.
A variety of food and refreshments will
be available. An auction will begin at noon.

will address the annual meeting of the
Friends of the Lewes Public Library begin-

The Sussex County Republican
Women's Club will host its annual banquet
beginning with a cash bar at 6 p.m. at the
Sussex Pines Country Club near George-
town. Dinner will follow at 7 p.m. The

The mammography van of Delaware
will offer mammograms from 9:30-1t:30
a.m. at the Planned Parenthood office in the
Midway Shopping Center and again from 1-
3 p.m. at the Lewes Senior Center on Nas-

The American Family Theatre will
