Briefly Rehoboth liquor store changes hands Spirits by the Sea, formerly Seaside Liquors, has now opened next to Rehoboth Pharmacy on Rehoboth Avenue. Phyllis Miha- las, Kim Cox and Bill Jagoe, all of Baltimore, recently purchased the business from David Potts and are expanding their line of offerings. They plan to increase the variety of wine offerings and will have a wine tasting of Vichon vintages from California this Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. They also will feature various microbrews, espe- cially those which may be popular with regional visitors to Rehoboth Beach. Mihalas, a major in the United States Army and a ROTC teacher, has been coming to Rehoboth since she was a child, while Kim Cox, recently transplanted from Kansas City, is a research coordi- nator in neurology at the Universi- ty of Maryland who previously managed a large liquor store. Ja- goe has made a career in sales and marketing. State Chamber to host Legislative Brunch The Delaware State Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Legislative Brunch on Wednes- day, June 7, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Sheraton Inn, U.S. 13 in Dover. Keynote speakers include State Sen. Richard S. Cordrey (D-Mills- boro) and President Pro Tern of the Senate, and state Rep. Terry R. Spence, R-Stratford) and Speaker of the House.
