Students donate gurney to Beebe Medical Center Students from the Broadcreek School in Georgetown recently donated a gurney to Beebe Medical Center's Emergency Services in Lewes. The students originally used the gurney for a special school project. Rather than throw the bed away, they decided to give it to Beebe Med- ical Center, where it will be put to good use. Hosmane to speak on prostate problems Urologist R. U. Hosmane, M.D., will present "Prostate Prob- lems: Signs and Symptoms, Med- ical and Surgical Interventions" on Thursday, June 13, when Beebe Medical Center holds its sixth in a series of free seminars called "Focus on Health". The seminar will be held at the Milton Public Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Hosmane, a board certified urologist, joined Beebe's med- ical/dental staff in April of 1978. He completed his internship at St. Lake's & Children's Medical Center and his residency at Hah- nemann Medical Center & Hospi- tal in Philadelphia. He earned his medical degree from the Universi- ty of Bombay in Bombay, India.
