CAPE GAZETTE, Friday, June 7 - June 13, 1996 - 43 Bayside Travel opens Long Neck office By Kristen Seal Bring your dreams of a flight to France or a cruise through the Caribbean to fruition with the help of the professipnal travel agents at Bayside Travel. The newly opened full service travel agency in Long Neck is prepared to assist vacationers of all budgets with every aspect of sightseeing. "We are a full service agency specializing in tour packages, reservations, cruises, airline tick- ets and more and we never charge a fee for our services," explained Bayside Travel branch manager Adele Hunker. Bayside Travel has one location in Ocean View which has been assisting travelers for five years. The second location, located in the Long Neck Plaza on Long Neck Road in Millsboro, recently opened its doors on May 13. "We simply looked at the demo- graphics and realized that there is a huge population here who do not have a travel agency within ten miles," said Bayside Travel gener- al manager Melinda Good. Hunker, who previously worked with Omega Travel in Washing- ton, D.C., is joined by travel con- sultant Sue Rutelionis at the Long Neck branch. Cashing out--This means people are cashing in their career path and going places and doing things they always wanted to do. Beach, is a specialist in vacation and corporate travel. She explained that some of the upcoming special packages that will be offered through Bayside Travel include group rates for a four-night trip to Las Vegas de- parting from Salisbury on Oct. 15, a Caribbean cruise in January, bus tours to Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Williamsburg, Va. and a New Year's Eve package featuring the Rose Parade. Bayside Travel will also be offering a gay cruise to the Caribbean this winter; promotion for the cruise will begin once the itinerary is finalized. The Ocean View Bayside Trav- el also hosts representatives from cruise lines or tour groups to show videos and present information concerning upcoming packages. The next tour highlight program will begin at 7 p.m. on Wednes- day, June 12 at the Ocean View location in order to promote the New Year's Eve trip to California. Bayside Travel prides itself on its friendly, relaxed atmosphere, free brochures, free services and experience with group packages. Good added that the agency offers free ticket delivery as well.
